Nothing changes if no one leads. Just as culture is led from the top down or organisation's become global icons and innovation transforms how we do things, someone needs to take charge and lead a purpose revolution from within.


Don't think this means that all the responsibility of success and workload sits on this one persons shoulders either. It is 100% a team effort and can only succeed if it is. What this really means is that someone is charged with thinking about what purpose means for the organisation, leads the engagement, and drives changes in mindsets.

If not you and you don't have the capacity for a new position in your team it can easily be an additional responsibility for an existing and suitable position. Don't forget we have that 'extra duties as required' clause for a reason ;-) Delegation not your style? Just ask your team, seriously. Don't underestimate this becoming a passion project for some legend trailblazer in your team.
